Bromley Council Asbestos Framework

Key Project

Bromley Council Asbestos Framework

CLIENT: Bromley Borough Council
SCOPE: Asbestos Framework
PROJECT VALUE: £7,000,000 over 3 years

Our term contract for The London Borough of Bromley has been in operation since 2007 and has been extended once and renewed once. We currently provide Asbestos Removal Services to schools, nurseries, youth centres, farms, leisure centres, libraries, theatres, retail units, central offices and work depots under their control operating with the highest level of professionalism at all times. The role has required us to be adaptable on site and ensure that we can work flexibly to fit around school half terms and holidays.

We have vast experience in managing liaison with neighbouring residents, worried parents etc, producing hand-outs and Newsletters as and when requested by the client. All of our site operatives wear identity cards and have been subjected to the necessary CRB checks.

Works include priority and emergency call-out works (2 hours response time) as well as all the planned asbestos management and removal works within the Borough.

The work undertaken is varied but includes removal and encapsulation of AIB, encapsulation of ACM’s, removal of insulative ACM’s, removal of non-licensable/reportable ACM products and much more. We are also responsible for disposing of all ACM products and asbestos related waste.

We work closely with the Asbestos Surveyors to provide the best possible service to our client.

The works are estimated to be worth up to £7m in value, and whilst the majority of works are of low value (but high volume) some planned project works are of substantial value.
